Dubrovnik will be featured in the UK publication The Evening Standard
Organized by the Rixos Premium Dubrovnik Hotel and with the support of the Dubrovnik Tourist Office, a reporter for the popular UK digital edition of The Evening Standard magazine, Elizabeth Dee Edmonds, is staying in Dubrovnik from September 8 to 12 and preparing a report on the Rixos Premium Dubrovnik Hotel and Dubrovnik. During her multi-day stay in Dubrovnik, the journalist will take advantage of the gastronomic offerings of Dubrovnik and visit the most important cultural and historical sites of the city and its surroundings.
In Dubrovnik, the British journalist from The evening standard was greeted by the director of the Dubrovnik Tourist Office, Ana Hrnić, who greeted her with a souvenir. Ana Hrnić and Elizabeth Dee Edmonds spoke about the importance of the UK market, which is traditionally the most important outbound market, and also about raising awareness among UK readers of Dubrovnik as one of the safest destinations in the Mediterranean. Dubrovnik and its surroundings, as one of the most popular destinations for Britons and an established tourist brand in the UK market, are an ideal combination of cultural and historical heritage, natural beauty and gastronomic offerings.
In the UK digital edition of The Evening Standard, which reaches up to 100 million views per month, an article on Dubrovnik will be published by the end of September.
The UK market is Dubrovnik’s most important outbound market, with tourists currently again at the top of the list of most tourists to Dubrovnik. There are currently 3,045 Britons in Dubrovnik, while there were 18,565 British guests in August, 53% more than in August 2020.
